CPC Hybrid Course Information
Thank you for your interest in the Professional Medical Coder Curriculum. This course prepares the student to become a Certified Professional Coder (CPC). This is an 80 credit hour course. Medical Terminology and Anatomy will be taught in this course and is a huge plus in helping you succeed. Classes will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for a total of 15 weeks. Classes will begin at 6 pm and will end at 9pm. This will be a hybrid course meaning we will meet face to face but every student will also be required to complete assignments and quizzes online. This will further enhance the learning process and give the student an opportunity to work independently. Each chapter contains practice questions to prepare the student for the National CPC exam. There will also be a mid-term and a final exam. This course will also offer a “mock” CPC exam at the end of the course to give the student an idea of what to expect at the “live” exam. Your hard work is essential to the program, and passing the CPC exam. I will be proctor for the exam and it will be held at the same place as the classes. Each student will get a second chance to pass the CPC exam at no additional cost.
Tuition includes the following:
All course materials (Textbook & Worksheets)
All coding books (CPC, ICD-10, HCPCS)
1-year Membership to the AAPC
CPC Exam (2 opportunities given)
Online Access to course assignments
Becoming a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is very rewarding. Your certification can be used across the United States. There are also many different avenues that you can pursue such as compliance, auditing, or teaching!
